Sister and I did the 4 day Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth trip and it was amazing. The gorilla trek was the big moment for us. You wear masks when you get close because they can catch our sickness and we can catch theirs, so it felt very respectful. Bring really good trekking shoes, trust me.

I did the 12 day safari with Dust and Echo and it was honestly incredible. I travel alone for my vlog and sometimes it is stressful, but this trip felt easy from the first day. My guide Patrick was patient and very calm, and he always knew when I needed time to film or just enjoy the view.

Uganda surprised me every single day. Murchison Falls, the chimps in Kibale, the gorillas in Bwindi, the long drives through small villages. Everything felt real and not rushed. The lodges were simple in the best way and the food was great. I always felt safe and looked after.

We booked the three day fly in gorilla trek with Dust and Echo and the whole trip ran smoothly from the start. The flight to Kisoro was quick and our driver Patrick was already waiting when we landed. The Chameleon Hill Lodge where we stayed felt calm and had a great view of the forest, which helped settle the nerves before the trek.

The hike itself was tougher than we expected but worth every bit of effort. We found a family of gorillas after a couple of hours and the moment felt strangely normal in the best way. No crowd, no chaos, just quiet time watching them feed and move around us.
