Day 1 :

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon Game Drive

Your adventure begins with a warm welcome from your Dust & Echo driver-guide after breakfast. You will set off on a scenic journey southwest towards Lake Mburo National Park.

A captivating stop at the Equator offers a chance to participate in the fascinating water experiment and capture memorable photographs. Upon arrival at Lake Mburo, you'll check into your chosen accommodation and enjoy a delightful lunch. The afternoon is dedicated to an exhilarating game drive within the park.

Keep your eyes peeled for the park's iconic zebras, along with graceful impalas, towering giraffes, sturdy buffalo, elusive elands, topi, warthogs, and various waterbucks.

As the sun begins to set, you will return to your lodge for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay.

Day 2 :

Morning Game Drive, Optional Boat Ride & Return to Kampala

Awake to the sounds of the African bush and enjoy an early morning cup of tea before embarking on another thrilling game drive. This early start increases your chances of spotting nocturnal animals returning to their dens, such as hyenas, and observing hippos making their way back to the lake.

Witness more herds of buffalo, zebras, impalas, and topi, with a touch of luck, perhaps even a leopard. After this rewarding wildlife encounter, return to your lodge for a leisurely late breakfast.

For those interested, an optional boat ride on Lake Mburo can be arranged, offering a unique perspective of the park's aquatic life, including hippos, crocodiles, and an array of water birds.

Alternatively, you can enjoy some relaxation by the pool. In the afternoon, embark on another game drive, this time venturing to Kazuma Lookout Point, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding lakes and much of the park's diverse animal species.

After your final safari activities, you will begin your scenic drive back to Kampala. En route, you’ll have the opportunity for a local community visit to the traditional drum makers in Mpabire Village, exploring their gardens, craft shops, and local fruit markets.

You will arrive in Kampala in the evening, where your guide will transfer you to the airport for your flight back home, concluding your memorable Lake Mburo safari.
